Voters Roll

Voters Rolls or Electoral Registers are a record of each household member entitled to vote in local government and parliamentary elections. Ayrshire Archives holds many registers from 1884 to the present date.

North Ayrshire from 1884 - 1917

Ayr Burgh 1945 to date

Kilmarnock Burgh 1918 to date

Note that while women could not vote till 1919 in parliamentary elections, they were entitled to vote in county council elections from 1890 onwards.
