2.  JAMES EWING  was born Abt. 1825 in Threemark Parish, Stoneykirk, Wigtown, Scotland, and died October 8, 1864 in Stevenston, Ayr, Scotland.  He married ROBINA REID December 31, 1855 in Steventson, Ayr, Scotland, daughter of CHARLES REID and ELIZABETH ESDALE (EASDALE).  She was born Abt. 1829, and died May 26, 1911 in 111 Ardeer Square, Stevenston. 

Notes for JAMES EWING: Birth of Samuel stated he was 33.5 years old in 1855.

Death certificate in 1864 stated he was 37 years old, Stoker, Railway, Parents deceased.

March 30, 1877 in Stevenston, Ayr, Scotland, daughter of JAMES MCKELLAR and MARY ALLAN.  She was born Abt. 1855 in Stevenson, Ayr, Scotland    He married (2) HELEN GLOSSOP .He married (3)  CATHERINE MCLELLAND
