from Scottish Old Parish Registers (birth/baptisms and
marriages only; 1700 - 1854), Statutory Registers (birth,
marriages and deaths; 1855 - 1990) and 1861 and 1871 Census
records.

Irish Origins
allows users to search for FREE across 17,000 Irish
genealogy web pages, containing 1.5 million names, including census data, Griffith’s valuations, ships’ passenger lists, church records, convict
records and more. Also included on Irish Origins are links on how to find useful information
including Irish source archives, discussion group, with articles and tutorials to follow shortly. By entering in a surname, and
any other relevant information such as year, place of birth, residence, our search engine will link you directly to sites where that name and
information appears.
Access to Irish Origins is entirely free as they do not hold any primary
data themselves, but a comprehensive searchable index to data from other sites.
New - For those of you researching your Irish ancestors,
locating exactly where your relatives may have come from can
often be difficult. In response, they have added a new
Placename Search to Irish Origins, the best source for
Irish genealogy online. This is an invaluable feature if you

Boyd's Marriage Index “First Miscellaneous Series”
has now been added to English Origins, making it the richest
source of authentic English genealogy records online. This new
data includes over 1.4 million names that are not included in
the previously available county lists, making a total of over
6.4 million names available now on Boyd’s Marriage Index. The
new records cover 25 counties, so that names are now available
for every English county.
