Kelburn Castle

Kelburn has been the seat of the Boyle Family since the 12th century. The family were given the title of Earls of Glasgow in 1703. The house and grounds are between Largs and Fairlie on the Ayrshire coast. Since the original Keep was built in the 12th century it has been added to in several phases the last one being a wing completed in the 19th century.
